Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha declared that he was transgender. Sasha faced some difficult times however she was confident that his family would be there for him and music was a way to aid. Jim and Sasha both are songwriters and were just recently forming an official music duo. In the past, they have appeared at many local venues such as open mics. The Voice coaches never discussed the background of Sasha, however Jim and Sasha shared their story through a short video that was presented prior to their show. Sasha and Jim spoke about music that they enjoy and how they first played guitar at age six. The fact that his father was a music teacher made it easier for Sasha to learn the craft. Sasha was a troubled child with his gender identity. In a recent Instagram post Sasha spoke about the struggles he had to face. In the meantime, Jim overcame with emotion in his explanation of the reasons why he was not able to be part of those trying moments. Sasha Allen was born as a woman. Sasha Allen's age will reach 19 by 2021. Sasha Allen began his transition to masculinity when he was at the beginning of his time in high school. Sasha said in his Instagram, "I am the third transgender person to be featured on the show, and I'm thrilled to represent transgender people in such a broad platform."
